• Call for individual palm oil consultant, Indonesia based • Support engagement with Indonesian suppliers to promote sustainability of palm oil supply chains • Focus on supporting Indonesian suppliers to secure deforestation- and conversion-free (DCF) supply of palm oil, and the reporting and evidencing of this claim

Requirements

• Strong understanding of global palm oil supply chains and previous experience of associated sustainability and reporting requirements, including new regulatory requirements (e.g. familiarity with DCF, NDPE and/or RSPO processes and EUDR requirements) • Comfortable with data, and competent at managing datasets using Excel (templates and training will be provided) • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to ensure that requirements are clear, engagement is constructive and effective support/upskilling is provided to suppliers remotely and in-person • Excellent team working skills, with a collaborative approach, and preferably previous experience of working as part of an international team • Entrepreneurial approach, effective at problem-solving, with an organised and systematic approach to work • Ability to work remotely and independently from a core project team • Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia (fluency in other relevant languages a plus) • Ability to travel regularly within Indonesia, to visit supplier offices and facilities • Must have the right to live and work within Indonesia
