📋 Description

• Supporting primarily the UK public sector sales team but this may change based on sales/business need. • Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value and capabilities of our products. • Provide industry, technical, and product knowledge to 8x8 partners and customers. • Develop and maintain an expert understanding of all 8x8 applications and products. • Assist in developing technical proposals and RFP responses to meet customer requirements. • Develop advanced system configurations to provide a customized demo experience. • Work with internal teams to provide feedback on product enhancements and feature requests based on partner input. • Document actions and follow-ups as per Sales Engineering best practices identified by the SE management. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape to effectively position our solutions. • Represent 8x8 at conferences, industry, and sales events if and when requested.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in a sales engineering or technical consulting role, preferably in the cloud communications or customer engagement industry (CCaaS, CPaaS, CX). • Strong verbal and written communication skills focused on needs analysis, positioning, business justification, and closing techniques. • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. • Ability to travel up to 10% - 20% of the time within the region to accommodate partner events, meetups, and/or customer engagements.
