📋 Description

• Job Summary: As the Senior Laravel Developer you will take full ownership of rewriting a legacy application, transitioning it to a new modern tech stack centred around Laravel. • You will lead the development process, making key architectural decisions, implementing business logic, and ensuring robust database structures. • The role requires someone who can work independently, manage the full development cycle, communicate progress effectively, and run client workshops for requirements discovery. • You’ll be the primary technical point of contact for the project and will be part of a cross-functional team, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in PHP development, with a strong focus on Laravel. • Excellent English skills are required. • Proven experience leading projects from inception to completion, particularly in rewriting legacy systems or developing business-critical applications. • Strong expertise in modern Laravel (including the latest versions) and PHP frameworks. • Experience with database design and optimization (MySQL, MariaDB, etc.), and familiarity with complex relational databases. • Deep understanding of business logic, able to translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Vue.js, React, or similar (preferred but not essential). • Version control experience (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for efficient, automated deployments. • Ability to work independently, manage your own workload, and meet deadlines. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to provide updates and lead client workshops effectively. • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in time-constrained, budget-focused environments. • Bonus Skills: Experience with DevOps, Docker, or server-side deployments.
