📋 Description
• Support actuarial department by performing pricing analyses • Gather and clean data for analysis • Conduct rate reviews and recommend changes • Assist in preparation of rate filing materials • Collaborate with cross-functional teams • Provide analytical support to other functions • Follow industry developments and emerging methods
🎯 Requirements
• BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area • 1 - 3 years of experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis on personal lines insurance. • Completion of two or more actuarial exams • Basic understanding of the market landscape • Effective computer software programming skills, such as Python or VBA • Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills • Proven oral and written communication skills • Ability to work effectively in a team environment • Pattern-recognition skills and logic-based thinking
