Description

• Develop and maintain accounting systems, general ledgers, assets and liability records • Prepares annual and quarterly Statutory reports and annual GAAP financial statements • Coordinates external audits, and financial examinations • Support the controller’s and finance departments • Establish a strong rapport with collaborators across the organization • Develop, modify and execute company policies that affect immediate operations • Prepare proposals for improvements to internal accounting procedures and policies • Act as a lead for employees supporting the general ledger and financial reporting process

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with emphasis on Business Administration, Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience • 6-7 years previous relevant work experience • Complete knowledge of US GAAP and SAP accounting principles and financial analysis techniques • Detailed knowledge of financial statement preparation including consolidations, multiple basis of reporting and other advanced topics • Strong analytical skills needed to evaluate and develop logical explanations to accounting issues • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence and communicate effectively within the company and externally • Outstanding leadership and administration skills, sound judgment and decision making, analytical thinking and creative problem solving • Oracle/Hyperion report writing is a plus
