• Champion Student Affairs: Lead and organize comprehensive programs that support students. • Oversee AACOMAS: Manage AACOM’s Centralized Application Service (AACOMAS). • Develop National Recruitment Strategies: Design, implement, and evaluate a national recruitment plan. • Innovate Admissions Practices: Leverage technology to enhance recruitment and admissions. • Collaborate for Student Success: Support students transitioning to residency matches. • Promote Diversity & Inclusion: Lead initiatives supporting historically underrepresented minority groups. • Engage Stakeholders: Maintain relationships with medical school admissions officers. • Contribute to Strategic Leadership: Drive strategies that enhance student services and support student success.
Requirements
• Educational Background: Master’s degree or advanced degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Counseling, Marketing, Business, or related field. • Proven Leadership Experience: 7-10 years of mid- to senior-level management experience in higher education. • Expert in Recruitment & Admissions: Extensive knowledge in higher education recruitment and admissions. • Tech-Savvy Innovator: Comfortable leveraging digital tools and artificial intelligence. • Diversity Advocate: Experience with outreach programs supporting historically underrepresented minority groups. • Skilled Networker & Relationship Builder: Natural at building coalitions and nurturing relationships. • Financial Acumen: Experience managing budgets and aligning financial planning with strategic goals.
