Description

• Design, develop, and document software for multimedia streaming applications in automotive systems and mobile devices • Proactive contributor on embedded development teams • Work independently and within a team environment • Communicate with customers directly • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required • Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering • Legal right to work in the U.S. • 1-3 years of experience in C++/Java in a Linux/Android environment • Experience in multimedia stack, Linux, QNX, Android environments • Knowledge of IP communications standards, mobile connectivity, audio streaming, and security/authentication methodologies • Experience with API design and development, libraries design and development • Experience with modern programming concepts, object-oriented methodologies, and system software design concepts • Experience in log analysis, code analysis, crash analysis, debugging tools • Experience in formal documentation and code reviews • Familiarity with configuration management and defect tracking tools • Experience with Hardware setup and testing • Good public speaking and presentation skills
