• Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for ongoing analysis of internal and external cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities, and the production of actionable intelligence for the organization. • Individuals in this role collect data from multiple sources and recommend vulnerability mitigation approaches as well as provide detailed analysis of emerging cybersecurity threats. • Individuals in this role provide assistance to security operations personnel to aid in identifying and blocking threats through development of signatures and configuration recommendations for security tools. • Work with risk management, security teams and business leaders to align security awareness and education initiatives to compliance requirements. • Measure the effectiveness of the awareness and training program, make recommendations and execute change. • Interface with platform management and operations teams to aid in tool configuration and to ensure appropriate log review by operations personnel and data production for input into security intelligence program. • Facilitate development of patterns for analysis tools used to identify and thwart malicious attacks. • Protect applications in compliance with multiple, global privacy, security, business resiliency and compliance frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field • 5 years of cybersecurity or IT management system experience with a strong preference for product security experience (consumer facing apps and services) • Strong understanding of security concepts and best practices • Experience with insider risk management • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively in a team environment • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CSSLP, CEH)
