• This Cybersecurity Compliance Specialist position can work remotely within the U.S. • Assists in Compliance and Information Security in providing internal control assessment, auditing and monitoring, risk management and mitigation. • Work to identify risk and ensure compliance with industry standards, relevant laws and regulations, and industry best practices. • Assist in maintaining and developing appropriate policies, procedures, and documentation to maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws. • Review and evaluate compliance issues and concerns within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. • 5 years of experience in product cybersecurity or related field. • Strong understanding of security concepts and best practices. • Experience with developing and maintaining security governance frameworks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining the Quality Management Systems (QMS). • Proficient in vulnerability analysis skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CSSLP, CEH) preferred. • Medical device product security or compliance experience preferred. • Experience with data privacy regulations to include US HIPAA and EU GDPR preferred. • Risk Management and threat modeling experience preferred. • Advanced understanding of software development lifecycle (SLDC) and secure design principles preferred. • Understanding of TCP/IP, common networking ports and protocols, traffic flow, system administration, OSI model and common security elements preferred. • Understanding of OWASP, CVSS, the MITRE ATT&CK framework preferred. • Understanding of ISO 27001, HITRUST CSF and NIST cybersecurity frameworks preferred.
