Description

Design, build, and support the robust cloud-native applications, services, and APIs we need for our rapidly-growing business•Research commercial and open-source solutions, and make build vs buy recommendations•Enhance existing systems to add new functionality, and to improve performance, stability, quality, and security•Build deep user empathy and maintain a user-centric mindset•Communicate regularly and effectively within and on behalf of our cross-functional product delivery teams

Requirements

7+ years of software engineering experience, with several years of experience building and scaling cloud-native systems at a scale-up•Experience building and deploying a complex backend system utilizing Temporal•Passion for engineering excellence, and a love for data and architecture•Several years of experience building software for a regulated environment, and understand the tradeoffs that can be required to ensure compliance with regulations and frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC 2, and HITRUST•Knowledge of industry best-practices and trends, and an enjoyment of learning new things•Willing to pitch in wherever needed - as a fast-moving startup we need to do good work, quickly•Strong plus for ability and desire to work in San Francisco or New York on a hybrid working basis
