• Seeking a high-impact VP of Public Sector Sales to lead and scale Education, State & Local Government and Federal business. • Responsible for driving new Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) within the Public Sector. • Develop go-to-market strategies to drive new ARR growth. • Oversee and lead 3 sales leaders across Education, SLG, and Federal. • Engage with C-level executives and procurement officers. • Drive strategic partnerships to expand Absolute’s footprint. • Recruit and develop a high-performing sales team. • Align Sales with internal teams to execute go-to-market strategies.
• 10+ years of Education and/or Government sales experience. • 5+ years of leadership experience. • Deep knowledge of sales processes, procurement cycles, and compliance frameworks. • Strong relationships within major OEM’s and other reseller partners. • Experience negotiating complex license agreements. • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and contract tracking systems. • Experience scaling a sales business in a startup or new sales segment. • Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance. • Formal training in modern sales methodologies. • Strong background in executive engagement, sales forecasting, and strategic business planning. • Competitive background in athletics, military service, or other high-performance environments.
