📋 Description

• At Abusix, we are pioneers in remote work and thought leaders in fighting network abuse and cyber threats on a global scale. • We have built an ecosystem that transforms security-related data into actionable information, contributing to a safer online environment. • OUR MISSION is to make the internet a safer place. • YOUR ROLE: As our Backend Software Engineer you work remotely with our engineering team based in the EU and take ownership from day one by working independently while being an effective communicator. • With your experience in threat hunting or threat intelligence, you are a key player in building a new data processing and analytics platform for long-term conclusions that help us enrich our event-driven data processing. • In this role, you report to the Tech Lead of our Data Services team and work closely with other engineering teams to contribute to the success of our company. • By taking responsibility and contributing your own ideas, you bring our products to the next level.

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent communication skills in English to ensure the seamless flow of information within the remote team. Timely and transparent communication about any obstacles for quick resolutions. • Tech stack includes Javascript/Typescript and Node.js, as well as relational databases and event processing platforms. • Very good in writing clean, understandable code in a team environment. Prioritize code quality and maintainability over individual ego. • Open to give and receive feedback, committed to continuous improvement through collaborative code reviews. • Worked with Security Analysts or Threat Hunters in the past and understand how to meet their needs in your work. • Familiar with AWS, Docker and Git Version Control. • Your core values match ours: ownership, collaboration, innovation, respect, and authenticity.
