📋 Description

• Research, design, implement and manage software programs as well as testing and evaluating new programs. • Resolve problems with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. • Write and implement efficient code to support the systems’ integration and migration activities. • Works closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts. • May be required to travel occasionally to support business efforts.

🎯 Requirements

• A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. • If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field, then 4 additional years of related experience is required. • 10+ years in Mainframe development, including IBM z/OS, JCL, COBOL, VSAM, and MQ. • Must have proficiency in REXX and SAS scripting on Mainframe systems for data manipulation and process automation. • Basic understanding of Java programming. • Prior experience working with JZOS and IBM JavaClassGenerator to facilitate Mainframe and Java interoperability. • Familiarity with DevOps practices on Mainframes is a plus. • Familiarity with MQ use with Apache Kafka is a plus. • Prior experience with performance tuning on Mainframe systems is a plus. • Working knowledge of the best practices in Mainframe development and support. • Strong written and verbal communication skills (ability to translate between business and technical concepts). • All candidates must be US Citizens or have permanent residence status (Green Card). • Must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance. • Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years. • Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last 5 years. Military Service excluded.
