• ActioNet is seeking an API Developer – II for a remote opportunity with occasional travel. • Requires U.S. citizenship for federal government security clearance. • Develop, implement, and maintain APIs for seamless integration and optimal performance. • Collaborate with front-end and back-end teams to enhance usability and implement security measures. • Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, ensuring APIs function effectively. • Contribute to API documentation for clear communication with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Software Engineering, or a related field. • 4 + years of hands-on experience in API development, integration, and maintenance. • Proficiency in RESTful API design, development, and optimization for high availability and scalability. • Familiarity with best practices in API security, including authentication, authorization, and encryption. • Experience working with cloud-based APIs and microservices architecture, contributing to scalable and efficient systems. • Local candidate based on the East Coast, within commuting distance of Washington, DC
