Description

• ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for a Business Analyst. • This position will require a federal background investigation. • This role is 100% Remote. • Key responsibilities include gathering and translating business needs into user stories, maintaining technical documentation, and modeling processes and requirements for both legacy and modernization projects. • The role involves defining acceptance criteria, assisting with testing, and ensuring readiness for sprints. • Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential to succeed in this mission-critical environment, as is the ability to lead, adapt, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. • Duties and Responsibilities include gathering requirements, developing user stories, providing system analysis, conducting business process analysis, designing IT solutions, creating IT solutions for modernization initiatives, leading business process re-engineering efforts, and delivering technical briefings.

Requirements

• 5 to 7+ years’ experience in supporting the product owner and agile team • Experience assisting with testing, by writing acceptance criteria and confirming test cases result • Experience with producing relevant and current requirements, sizing user stories correctly, and removing roadblocks prior to sprints starts • BS/BA Degree or MA/MS Degree with 4+ years of experience • Demonstrated leadership capability • Strong problem-solving capacity in a highly visible and mission critical environment • Strong articulation, listening, and communication skills required for interaction with diverse audiences and self-forming teams • Exceptional attention to detail • Exceptional oral and written communications skills • Adaptable ability to perform independently and within a team
