Description
• Lead implementation and ongoing compliance with complex accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606, ASC 842) in a SaaS environment • Own the process for proper treatment of contracts, performance obligations, and variable consideration • Evaluate Goodwill for impairment and assist with other PBC audit schedules • Be able to support all areas of accounting (we work as a team) • Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and controls • Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance • Partner with external auditors on the annual audit and prepare technical accounting memos • Assist with financial statement preparation, including footnotes and supporting schedules • Own stock based compensation calculations • Tackle special projects, including system improvements and process enhancements
Requirements
• CPA required • 5-7 years of technical accounting experience in a SaaS or technology company • Deep knowledge of US GAAP, especially ASC 606 and ASC 842 • Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex accounting issues clearly
