β’ Partner with Sr. Manager, Design & Development to research, improve, design, develop and implement e-learning products and programming in alignment with learning guidelines, industry best-practices, evidence-based research, stakeholder feedback and evaluation and learning to educate, train and prepare learners to advance health equity. β’ Design, develop and implement learning opportunities and learning products for young adults (18-24 yo) to create community, build capacity and explore career interest. β’ Work with the Sr. Manager, Design & Development to identify, implement and manage learning management system. β’ Coordinate and train educators and staff on using asynchronous/eLearning tools. β’ Design and host monthly virtual meetings that allow members to share experiences, discuss challenges, and celebrate successes. β’ Revise and update course content as needed. β’ Stay updated with the latest learning and instructional trends, technologies and strategies with an emphasis on asynchronous and e-learning. β’ Monitor and report on learner progress and engagement to designated parties. β’ Support implementation of stakeholder feedback and other evaluation/learning to improve learning products and impact. β’ Support integration of eLearning with other educational initiatives.
β’ 2+ years demonstrated experience in design, developing, implementing and facilitating e-learning products and programs for diverse, adult learners coupled with knowledge of and competency in learning theory and instructional design strategies. β’ Possess effective time management, project management, collaboration, research, writing and problem-solving skills. β’ Willing and able to work remotely. β’ Attentive to detail and efficient in the management of diverse tasks. β’ Familiar with e-learning software (Articulate Rise 360), learning management systems (Moodle), learning theory and practice for diverse learners, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, Zoom and Outlook. β’ Demonstrate a strong passion for PHEβs vision to advance health equity and improve health outcomes for young people; mission to empower young people with the knowledge, skills, and resources to make healthy decisions; and a strong alignment with PHEβs core values of Health, Impact, Communication, Equity, and Agency. β’ Centers youth inclusion, community partnership, and equity work visibly, broadly, in action in part through deep listening and hearing with a lens of inclusion. β’ Experience with building and incorporating multimedia elements into e-learning (preferred). β’ Familiarity with Moodle LMS (preferred). β’ Bilingual (Spanish) (preferred).
