Description

• Seeking an experienced Hands-On QA and Automation Manager • Focus on testing backend software controlling hardware configurations and systems • Define and implement test strategies for operational automation and hardware management software • Develop automated test frameworks for backend systems managing hardware, DSP, and AI units • Manage a small QA team while providing hands-on contributions in backend testing and automation • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for test coverage of complex hardware-software interactions • Conduct testing of configuration management, system integration, and monitoring tools across platforms • Drive operational automation testing for system updates, backups, and disaster recovery

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in QA and test automation development, with a significant focus on system-level backend environments involving hardware and complex data management • At least 5 years of experience in test automation, developing frameworks and solutions for backend systems, particularly those that manage hardware configurations and operational processes • At least 2 years of experience in a management or leadership role within system-level or hardware-centric testing domains • Proven ability to design test strategies and automation frameworks for edge device and backend infrastructure • Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages for backend automation development • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible) in backend infrastructure environments • Strong system-level debugging and troubleshooting skills for complex hardware-software systems • Advantage: Experience with DSP, optical systems, or edge computing • Familiarity with system monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
