Description

• Uphold a professional and positive demeanor in all responsibilities. • Maintain open, transparent communication with management regarding customer concerns and inquiries. • Oversee and manage network elements across local and remote locations. • Continuously enhance knowledge of industry technologies and adapt to evolving IT requirements. • Evaluate system configurations and designs to ensure compliance with current information assurance standards. • Collaborate with third-party providers to troubleshoot issues and implement risk mitigation measures. • Utilize vendor resources to analyze configurations, address hardware concerns, and assess future procurement needs. • Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation using tools such as Microsoft Visio. • Generate and present detailed weekly reports on network and system availability. • Act as a primary escalation point for advanced network technical support. • Coordinate system updates and changes with cross-functional IT teams. • Achieve and maintain relevant industry IT certifications in alignment with role responsibilities.

Requirements

• Eligibility to obtain a security clearance; applicants with dual citizenship may be required to relinquish foreign citizenship to meet clearance requirements. • SolarWinds SCP certification must be obtained within three months of employment. • Proven expertise in delivering enterprise network services within large-scale, mission-critical infrastructures. • Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of government and contractor organizations. • Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with advanced networking technologies, including Cisco network equipment, SolarWinds Orion, NSA-certified Type 1 network encryptors, Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs), Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE), and firewall systems. • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of two years of progressive, relevant experience. • Equivalent experience (four additional years) may be considered in lieu of a degree.
