Description

Perform daily Xero bookkeeping tasks to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. Handle monthly accruals and prepayments, ensuring proper accounting for expenses and revenue recognition. Manage monthly updates for fixed assets and maintain a depreciation journal to track asset values over time. Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial statements and identify any discrepancies. Provide comprehensive support to the Finance Manager on various tasks and actively participate in executing finance department activities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with a proven track record using Xero accounting software is a must. • Fluent or C1 level proficiency in spoken English. • Familiarity with US Taxation practices. • Ability to work collaboratively within a team, supporting the Finance Manager and other departments as needed. • Knowledge of accrual basis accounting, COGS, customized report generation in Xero, Excel formula usage, efficient task management. • Possession of relevant certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) is a plus.
