Description

• Sourcing quality and standards manufacturers, and vendors from China for various types of products mainly within construction, and metal manufacturing • Involvement in manufacturers' communication, negotiation, and closing deals • Manage supply needs and approve the ordering of necessary goods and services • Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure • Implement inventory optimization strategies within the company from China to the US and different parts of the world • Maintain and update supplier database and find alternative suppliers if existing ones are unable to meet obligations • Work with growth team and stakeholders to manage and execute new product developments • Establishing standards with regard to quality, and delivery, and finalizing purchase details of orders and deliveries • Research and stay abreast with latest market trends • Cooperate with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processes • Oversee quality assurance and quality control practices at each step, and meet importing regulations

Requirements

• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing), and flexible to work in different timezones • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management and sourcing operations, preferable in the eCommerce space • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sourcing from China and Importing to the US, having Canadian, and European importing experience is a plus • Practical working experience with HTS and product categorization import custom procedure • Experience in Metal manufacturing, construction, and/or outdoor decoration is a big plus • Knowledge of construction Engineering is a plus • Strong Negotiation skills with manufacturers mainly from China, vendors, agent brokers, and consumers • High level of emotional intelligence, communication skills, problem-solving, and time management • Strong with data analysis, reporting, dashboards and spreadsheets, and presentation skills • Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement processes, familiarity with manufacturing and vendor management, negotiation skills, analyzing costs, suggesting cost-saving methods, proficiency in supplier management, understanding of inventory optimization strategies, knowledge of import regulations and quality assurance practices, research skills to stay updated on market trends, collaboration and communication skills for working with stakeholders
