• Support manufacturing operations with equipment repair and test issues. • Fabricate and troubleshoot test equipment. • Debug and investigate test equipment failures. • Analyze failures for trends. • Perform Preventive Maintenance and calibration activities. • Provide support in wiring and installation of new products and their associated applications. • Assemble various types of test beds, test racks, and test sets for use by design engineering group. • May perform hardware design verification tests. • Perform tests to verify performance, procedures, and functional operation of electronics boards and/or proto-type boards and systems. • Update and maintain manufacturing work instructions, Bills of Material (BOM), verify Mechanical drawings, and submit Engineering Change Orders (ECO).
• Associate’s Degree in Electronics is required. • Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. • 0-2 years of relevant, professional experience is required. • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required. • Must have completed (or be able to complete) ADTRAN Level 2 Solder Certification. • Ability to perform measurements using basic laboratory equipment such as voltage/current meters, oscilloscopes, etc. required. • Experience in verifying and debugging electronic, system, software, and hardware required.
