Description

• Aduro Advisors seeks a Management Company Controller to manage accounting and operations functions • Oversee operational entities for Venture Capital and Private Equity clients • Manage team, oversee day-to-day accounting work, and delegate tasks as needed • Drive month-end close process and review quarterly reporting • Oversee payroll and accounts payable processes • Prepare documentation for external tax team and annual 1099 Reporting Process • Respond and manage ad hoc client requests

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role – experience with accounts payable and payroll cycles preferred • External auditor / CPA certification a plus • Resourceful, driven, and strong problem-solving skills • Value providing excellent customer service • Passion for mentoring and coaching team members • Experience in a client-facing role leading engagements on multiple clients • Proficient in accounting systems such as Xero or Quickbooks • Comfortable with software systems including Gsuite, Microsoft Office, Box, Slack
