📋 Description
• We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with digital banking experience. • This role will be integral to a collaborative and cross-functional team and contribute to innovative and impactful projects. • Provide input on the entire project lifecycle, from sales support, discovery, and planning to the implementation phase. • Reporting to the CEO, you will combine an understanding of digital transformation, software development lifecycles, technology platforms, and user interface design principles. • Extracting, analyzing, and validating clients' business requirements through documentation reviews, stakeholder interviews, and other requirements-gathering exercises. • Convert requirements into software development specifications for internal and external development teams using various software modelling documentation techniques. • Optimize and improve requirements gathering and documentation processes in strategy group based on best practices. • Participate in ongoing special projects that support Aequilibrium’s work environment and strategic plans.
🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years working in a business systems planning role in a Canadian tech professional services environment, fintech, or credit union. • Direct client engagement experience in financial services or the banking sector. • Experience working in an Agile environment, using cross-functional and remote teams. • Experience with business development (pitch support), discovery, planning, and delivery of digital banking platform integration and customization. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Experience with building and fostering client relationships. • A university degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or equivalent work experience. • Nice-to-Have: Experience working on digital banking projects with platforms like BackBase, Forge, eBankIT, VeriPark, Intellect Design, or Temenos. • Experience with preparing and leading requirements-gathering workshops with the client leadership team focused on digital transformation, particularly relating to digital banking platforms, Scrum Master and/or Product Owner Certified.
