• Afar is the award-winning travel media brand that makes a positive impact on the world through high-quality storytelling that inspires, empowers, and enriches travelers who care. • We are looking for a part-time Newsletter Producer to support our email program. Successful candidates will be detail-oriented with strong organizational and collaboration skills. • This role will be part of Afar’s Audience Development team and is a great opportunity to gain email and content strategy skills for a fast-growing travel media brand. • Build Afar’s daily and weekly editorial newsletter sends • Partner with marketing team to manage assets and build all sponsored email campaigns40-50 hours/month
Requirements
• Have 1-3 years of experience in digital publishing • Be extremely detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative • Be interested in learning about content marketing • Have excellent time management skills • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment • Have experience working with an email CRM software. Sailthru and Canva experience is a plus. • Be passionate about travel and travel journalism • Preferably have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or Business, or equivalent experience
