Description

• Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, providing consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later. • The Merchant Interfaces team within Decisions Foundations is growing and seeks a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead high performing teams. • You will manage a team responsible for the APIs that Merchants use to integrate with Affirm, and power partners like Amazon and Stripe. • The work is challenging due to rapid market growth, directly impacting Affirm's merchant network.

Requirements

• 4-6+ years of experience as a software engineer with leadership responsibilities and 3+ years as an engineering manager managing high performing engineering teams. • Passion for working with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, Analytics and Business teams. • Expert at synthesizing complex business, product, and technical requirements to consistently produce high quality system designs and software. • Humble and authentic leadership which places the needs of others first and helps people develop and perform as highly as possible. • Experience scaling systems in a service oriented architecture preferred but not required. • This position requires either equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
