Description

• Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest. • We’re looking for a Product Designer to join us in expanding our post-purchase experience and international expansion. • Design serves a vital role at Affirm: from building narratives through data to creating products that help people make important financial decisions. • You are responsible for crafting experiences that solve problems people struggle with every day. • This Product Designer will help build new partner focused experiences through informed iterative design. • You can demonstrate a breadth of design experience leveraging your ability to create delightful experiences that simplify our customers’ payment management experience through Affirm as well as contributing to our wider international expansion strategy. • You’ll partner well with design leadership, design research, and content design. • You’ll work end-to-end, from contributing towards Design and Product vision to delivering class leading design.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in consumer product/UX design focused roles • Strong, thoughtful approach to the craft of design informed by user needs • Knows how to hold a bar for design craft and shipping to learn • Self-sufficient and uses leadership and peers to seek out feedback early and often • Ability to improve the culture of the team and cross-functional partnerships. • Familiar working with and contributing to a design system • A demonstrated portfolio of your work thinking strategically across multiple consumer experiences and shipping successful in-app/web experiences in a fast-paced environment.
