Description

• Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly. • Seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to contribute to Developer Productivity. • Focus on Test Platform Engineering and lightweight test frameworks for Affirm Engineering Teams. • Collaborate on the roadmap, contribute to technical solutions, and drive team initiatives. • Work closely with the Engineering Director to enhance coding and processes quality standards. • Build world-class systems enabling Affirm in its mission to provide honest financial products that improve lives.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience designing, developing and launching backend systems at scale using languages like Python or Kotlin. • Track record of developing highly available distributed systems using technologies like AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes. • Experience with Front End languages and technologies. • Experience defining a technical plan for the delivery of a significant feature or system component with an elegant, simple and extensible design. • Proficient at making significant changes in a large code base and developing a suite of tools and practices. • Strong verbal and written communication skills that support effective collaboration.
