• Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest. • We're looking for a Software Engineer to join the AI Agents engineering team within the Servicing Engineering organization. • Our team works closely with omnichannel AI agent vendors to provide a conversational first point of contact for our customers. • We focus on orchestrating the systems within Affirm to continuously find solutions for our customers. • The team is newly formed and taking on big unknowns, so we're looking for someone who wants to take ownership and execute for whatever is necessary.
🎯 Requirements
• You have previous work or internship experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue. • You have previous work or internship designing, developing and launching APIs at scale using languages like Python or Kotlin. • You have mastered taking a simple problem or business scenario into a solution that interacts with multiple software components, and executing on it by writing clear, easily understood, well tested and extensible code. • You are comfortable navigating a large code base, debugging others' code, and providing feedback to other engineers through code reviews. • Your experience demonstrates that you take ownership of your growth, proactively seeking feedback from your team, your manager, and your stakeholders. • You have strong verbal and written communication skills that support effective collaboration with our global engineering team.
