• Affirm is reinventing credit for consumers without hidden fees or interest. • Seeking a Staff Software Engineer for Privacy Engineering and Storage Services teams. • Responsible for designing and building robust systems for data privacy and storage solutions. • Collaborate with Security, Legal, Product, and Infrastructure teams for compliance. • Drive privacy initiatives to enhance data protection capabilities.

Requirements

• Experience: 7+ years in software engineering focused on privacy, security, or storage systems • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, Kotlin, or Java; experience with AWS, GCP, Azure • Leadership: Experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills for complex privacy and storage challenges • Communication: Excellent skills to articulate technical concepts clearly • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
