Description

•Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly. •We are seeking a highly motivated Staff Engineer to contribute to Developer Productivity. •The goal is to create a workplace where teams can focus on creativity and problem-solving. •In this role, you will actively collaborate on the roadmap, design technical solutions, and drive cross-team initiatives. •Affirm is growing fast and we want you to enable us to scale our products to 10x and beyond.

Requirements

•7+ years of software development experience. •Strong sense of ownership with a proven track record of successfully driving large cross-functional technical programs. •Prior experience in designing, building, launching, and maintaining consumer-scale products. •Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams, both written and spoken, with proficiency in asynchronous communication methods. •Proficiency in either back-end or front-end development, with a particular focus on testing. •Working experience in Python, Kotlin, and/or React is a significant advantage. •Experience in building or contributing to test automation frameworks and infrastructure is highly desirable. •Familiarity with practices like Test-Driven Development (TDD) is a plus. •A passion for improving consumer financial services.
