Description

• Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly. • Seeking a highly motivated Staff Engineer to contribute to Developer Productivity. • Actively collaborate on the roadmap, design technical solutions, and drive initiatives. • Partner with stakeholders to align on roadmaps, strategy, and vision. • Lead technical decisions and initiatives within the Developer Productivity team. • Mentor engineers to help them grow and succeed. • Work closely with teams to craft best-in-class systems and processes around test frameworks. • On-Call Rotation required for this role.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience. • Strong sense of ownership with a proven track record of successfully driving large cross-functional technical programs. • Prior experience in designing, building, launching, and maintaining consumer-scale products. • Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams, both written and spoken. • Proficiency in either back-end or front-end development, with a particular focus on testing. • Working experience in Python, Kotlin, and/or React is a significant advantage. • Experience in building or contributing to test automation frameworks and infrastructure is highly desirable. • Familiarity with practices like Test-Driven Development (TDD) is a plus. • A passion for improving consumer financial services.
