📋 Description
• The Compliance/Regulatory Intern will support the department by monitoring and auditing compliance programs, identifying and addressing potential risks, and ensuring alignment with internal policies and external regulatory requirements. • This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in assessing compliance risks, conducting audits, and contributing to the development and implementation of compliance strategies. • The intern will assist in ensuring that compliance activities meet industry standards and regulatory guidelines, while identifying areas of improvement. • This role will report directly to the Chief Compliance Officer. • Assist in monitoring and auditing compliance programs to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations • Support the identification and assessment of potential compliance risks and help develop strategies to mitigate them • Participate in the development and delivery of compliance training programs • Assist in the review and update of compliance policies and procedures • Research regulatory requirements and industry best practices • Support data privacy initiatives and anti-fraud measures • Assist in the management of conflict-of-interest disclosures and related processes • Collaborate with various departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to compliance and regulatory matters
🎯 Requirements
• Currently pursuing a degree in Law, Business, Finance, or related field • Strong analytical and research abilities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
