📋 Description

• Afresh is on a mission to eliminate food waste and make fresh food accessible to all. • As a Security Lead at Afresh, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization’s digital assets and ensuring the security of our systems, processes, and data. • This is a leadership position where you will develop and implement effective security strategies, collaborate with various teams across the company, and drive initiatives to protect us from security risks. • Your expertise will be essential in identifying potential threats, conducting security assessments, and fostering a culture of security awareness throughout the company. • We are looking for someone with a strong track record of implementing security projects, building cross-functional relationships, and ensuring that our security posture remains robust and compliant with industry standards.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Security Engineering or similar • Experience being a Team Lead across the organization • Prior experience with Security for Cloud Infrastructure/Kubernetes • Demonstrated effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, actively fostering a culture of security awareness, and supporting the development of security solutions that impact larger projects. • Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Possesses expert-level knowledge in their specialty field and the security technology stack. • Expert understanding of industry standards and how they apply to Afresh. • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar (preferred)
