Description

• Design, implement, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code to support the core functionality of immersive applications. • Implement complex data storage solutions, ensuring seamless data flow and integration across various systems and platforms. • Develop and optimize internal tools and applications that support studio operations and creative processes, enhancing efficiency and productivity. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including artists, designers, and frontend developers, to define and achieve technical requirements and creative goals. • Optimize data handling and streaming for real-time interactive environments. • Implement security best practices to protect user data and company IP. • Lead and mentor junior engineers, fostering an environment of innovation and growth. • Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements, and integrate cutting-edge solutions to enhance user experience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development (with at least 2 years in a senior role, a plus). • Proficient in backend programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or similar. • Experience with database management and data caching technologies (SQL, NoSQL, Redis, etc.). • Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and API design. • Experience developing high-traffic, scalable applications. • Familiarity with the unique challenges of real-time data transmission and management in real time environments. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced studio environment. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field - a plus, but not required.
