📋 Description

• We’re seeking a dedicated Senior Backend Developer to work within our Product Development group. • You'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects including greenfield products, improving existing features, paying down technical debt (yup, we really do it!), and everything in between. • This role is an opportunity for you to really make a high impact and build as we enter our next phase of growth. • We’re looking for someone that not only will be driving new feature development, but ensuring best practices are top of mind.

🎯 Requirements

• You’ve worked on a product development team that has delivered features and services from beginning to end • You've designed and developed services that handle millions of requests • You’re able to innovate through iteration. Breaking down product features into shippable value increments • You've worked closely with engineering peers, product and design members to create high quality products that customers love to use • You’ve successfully helped your teams prioritize work to maximize quality, stability and project delivery • Through code reviews and peer feedback, you advocate for high standards and look for ways to improve the overall quality of our codebase • You take a collaborative approach to architecture, technical patterns, and complex problems • You have experience working in a fully remote environment • You have 5+ years of professional experience with PHP, including PHP 8+ and the modern PHP ecosystem • You have deep experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel • You have 4+ years experience working on large scale SaaS applications (no CMS please) • You are well-versed in various design patterns and know where to apply them • You have deep experience crafting optimized RDBMS queries • You have experience leading technical discovery, architectural planning, and technical scoping on your team • You have a high bar for quality and hold yourself and your peers accountable to it • You proactively take on challenges from start to finish • You’re good at unblocking yourself and your team to keep things moving
