Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Ruby on Rails. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. • Integrate with front-end components using React. • Write and maintain clean, reusable, and reliable Ruby code. • Design and develop API endpoints for mobile and web consumption. • Implement and maintain a rigorous test environment with RSpec and TDD practices. • Utilize GitHub for version control and collaboration. • Proactively identify and rectify bugs and performance bottlenecks. • Provide technical support for production systems, when necessary. • Continuously learn and implement best practices in web development.

Requirements

• 3+ years of recent experience in Ruby on Rails development. • You have proven experience in Ruby on Rails and React development. • Familiarity with RSpec and test-driven development (TDD). • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, specifically GitHub. • Experience in designing and developing Ruby backend APIs. • Strong problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities. • Passion for best design and coding practices. • Drive for continuous learning and development. • Strong spoken and written English skills. • Tech Stack: Languages: Ruby, JavaScript / Typescript / ActionScript Frameworks: Ruby On Rails, Sinatra, Adobe Flex, ExpressJS, ReactJS Data: PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, MongoDB, Solr, Elastic Search Cloud Providers: Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform Additional Technologies: Kafka, NewRelic, Datadog, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, GitHub, Atlassian Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience). • BONUS POINTS Prior experience working in the healthcare industry is an added advantage.
