Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Ruby on Rails • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features • Integrate with front-end components using React • Write and maintain clean, reusable, and reliable Ruby code • Design and develop API endpoints for mobile and web consumption • Implement and maintain a rigorous test environment with RSpec and TDD practices • Utilize GitHub for version control and collaboration • Proactively identify and rectify bugs and performance bottlenecks • Provide technical support for production systems, when necessary • Continuously learn and implement best practices in web development

Requirements

• 3+ years of recent experience in Ruby on Rails development • You have proven experience in Ruby on Rails and React development • Familiarity with RSpec and test-driven development (TDD) • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, specifically GitHub • Experience in designing and developing Ruby backend APIs • Strong problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities • Passion for best design and coding practices • Drive for continuous learning and development • Strong spoken and written English skills • Tech Stack: Languages: Ruby, JavaScript / Typescript / ActionScript • Frameworks: Ruby On Rails, Sinatra, Adobe Flex, ExpressJS, ReactJS • Data: PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, MongoDB, Solr, Elastic Search • Cloud Providers: Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform • Additional Technologies: Kafka, NewRelic, Datadog, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, GitHub, Atlassian • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) • BONUS POINTS: Prior experience working in the healthcare industry is an added advantage.
