Description

• Implement real-time, high-performance web applications for desktop and mobile. • Architect elegant, maintainable, testable solutions to complex technical problems. • Integrate with third-party platforms and services. • Tackle performance bottlenecks and drive improvements to backend infrastructure. • Mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of full stack experience developing performant, scalable web-based applications, preferably in a SaaS environment, in Ruby on Rails and React. • Comfortable leading and/or managing teams of remote developers. • Delivered and supported commercial, enterprise software. • Extensive full stack development experience with proficiency in a modern programming language (e.g. Ruby, Java, Typescript). • Goal-oriented, self-motivated and able to succeed in schedule-driven, fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills. • Strong practical experience building RESTful microservices, event-based distributed systems. • Deep understanding of object-oriented or functional programming design paradigms. • Excellent at troubleshooting multi-tiered systems and have worked with observability tools.
