Description

• remote Research Scientist III position at Assured Information Security (AIS) • Join Machine Learning team and lead junior engineers • Analyze problems and develop solutions • Contribute to reports, project schedules, and deliverables • Coordinate small projects and maintain state-of-the-art knowledge

Requirements

• bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related discipline • 5 years’ experience in an engineering or scientific function, including research OR equivalent combination of education and experience • 3 years’ experience applying Machine Learning techniques • 3 years’ experience with Python or equivalent scripting languages • 2 years’ experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow • 2 years’ experience in leading small teams of scientist and/or engineers • Strong understanding of mathematics • Experience decomposing research problems to create research plan • Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret security clearance • Able to travel (less than 10%)
