• Responsible for providing advanced technical assistance and support to customers experiencing complex technical issues. • Use software and data-engineering skills to debug and unblock customers with data pipelines. • Work closely with support agents, escalating and resolving issues efficiently. • Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving technical issues promptly and professionally. • Serve as an advocate for customers, working with product and engineering teams for fixes and enhancements. • Triage and prioritize user issues, developing code to address them. • Focus on automation, engineering initiatives, and creating a knowledge base to minimize support burden.
• Background: Computer Science or adjacent degree or boot camp graduate/self-taught programmer with 2 years of Data Engineering or Software Engineering experience. • Experience working with databases in a software-engineering or DBA capacity. • Experience working closely with Engineering teams and/or Developer customers. • Proficiency in relational databases, data warehouses, SQL, and Java/Kotlin. • Familiarity with data pipelines, unit tests, and troubleshooting. • Nice to have: experience with ERP systems, blob storage, cloud hosting, and scripting. • Excellent technical research skills and customer-centric communication. • About you: growth mindset, analytical, self-starter; a passion for continuous learning and improvement. • Build leverage: a week-long task this year should take ten minutes next year.
