📋 Description

• The position is responsible for understanding customer FortiNet security needs. • Implementing solutions on behalf of the customer. • Migrating existing firewalls into newly deployed FortiNet appliances. • Completing FortiNet initial customer configurations and user acceptance testing. • Configuring and supporting integrations with supported third party applications and systems. • Troubleshooting and resolving customer FortiNet implementations. • Completing change requests. • Monitoring security appliances. • Acting upon and resolving security notifications. • Pro-actively improving security implementations. • Keeping abreast of the evolving products and services made available by FortiNet and its partners. • Ensuring that the customer and agent FortiNet appliance service experience is positive. • Safeguards information system assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems. • Protects system by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources. • Recognizes problems by identifying abnormalities; reporting violations. • Implements security improvements by assessing current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements. • Determines security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits. • Upgrades system by implementing and maintaining security controls. • Keeps users and customers informed by preparing performance reports and communicating system status. • Maintains quality service by following organization standards. • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. • Have the ability to perform troubleshooting on active accounts. • Knowledge of fortimanager, fortianalizer and fortiportal.
