Senior Security Engineer

Description
• Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of core infrastructure. • Maintain and enhance security best practices. • Build and manage systems for security monitoring. • Implement guardrails to prevent high-risk misconfigurations. • Provide tooling, automation, and governance for product teams. • Conduct offensive security testing and risk acceptance. • Define and manage service-level objectives (SLOs). • Improve platform performance and security through collaboration. • Train and support engineering organization in best practices. • Build robust processes for emergency response and incident management.
Requirements
• Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud infrastructure, networking, and security. • Experience managing Kubernetes clusters with secure configurations. • Proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code. • Industry experience in languages such as Python or NodeJS. • A first-principles approach to solving engineering challenges. • Systematic problem-solving skills, and strong communication. • Ability to debug, optimise, and secure code. • Experience with system security and incident response. • Familiarity with threat assessment tools and processes. • A passion for enabling teams to build secure systems.
