Description

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable front-end applications for both web and mobile platforms. • Drive the implementation of user interfaces in collaboration with UX/UI designers, optimizing for an exceptional user experience. • Provide technical leadership in front-end development, guiding and mentoring junior team members. • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain at the forefront of innovation. • Ensure high code quality through best practices, code reviews, and continuous integration. • Implement and maintain a robust testing framework, encompassing unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure the reliability and functionality of front-end applications. • Optimize application performance for a seamless and responsive user experience. • Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces. • Communicate effectively with back-end developers, the product team, and other stakeholders to integrate front-end and back-end functionalities seamlessly. • Identify and address technical challenges, proposing innovative solutions to optimize application performance and usability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working in front-end development (preferably with startup experience) with a strong portfolio of projects demonstrating expertise in React (minimum 3 years React experience). • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • Use of the following technologies on a daily basis: • JavaScript / TypeScript • Vue.js, React • Google Cloud Functions, Google Cloud Run • Netlify • Nice-to-haves • Python/Flask • PostgreSQL • Docker, Cloud Providers like AWS or GCP. • Experience with state management libraries and RESTful API integration. • Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks (such as Jest, Mocha, Cypress) for both web and mobile platforms, demonstrating a commitment to high-quality, bug-free user experiences. • Strong understanding of responsive design principles. • Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under tight deadlines. • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and contribute to a positive and collaborative culture. • Proactive and solution-forward, bias for action. • Ability to drive forward work independently while communicating and working across functions. • Passion for engineering and doing quality work. • Experience working on high-scale, production-grade projects. • Experience working on a scrum team and understanding agile methodologies of software development.
