• The Senior Data Engineer role will support all of Analytics & Business Intelligence in our data engineering needs. • Assume responsibility for our data pipelines across all Line of Businesses. • Manage our enrichments and define the schemas for our core data warehouse tables. • Liaise with IT as needed to establish and maintain our extract, transform, and load processes. • Consult for IT on evolving our infrastructure needed and provide tooling that all BAs on our team can use to speed up / enable analysis and reporting. • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and extract, transform, and load processes to support business intelligence and analytics. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and ensure data availability, quality, and consistency. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and collaborate with IT to optimize existing data infrastructure for performance and reliability. • Manage the integration of data from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy and availability. • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data quality standards and implement data governance practices. • Assist in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new data tools and technologies. • Support ad-hoc data requests and reports for different departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent experience. • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role. • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server. • Hands-on experience with extract, transform, and load tools and processes (e.g., Apache NiFi, Talend, or similar). • Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or Scala. • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and their data-related services. • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake or Redshift. • Familiarity with data governance, data quality management, and best practices in data security. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with non-technical stakeholders. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Master’s Degree (Preferred).
