Description

• Lead the Authentication Development Team ensuring best practices are followed • Drive the adoption of new technologies to improve productivity and code quality • Work closely with product owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions • Lead the design and development of authentication services using Python and FastAPI • Architect scalable solutions on AWS Cloud using AWS Cognito, Lambda, and DynamoDB • Implement secure, high-performance RESTful APIs • Manage NoSQL and SQL databases to support authentication services • Champion Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices • Ensure authentication services meet security standards and comply with industry regulations • Implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., MFA, SSO)

Requirements

• Completed a program of study typically requiring four years of post-secondary education or higher • 7+ years in software development, with a backend focus • 3+ years in a leadership or technical lead role in Agile teams • Expertise in Python, Angular, AWS (Cognito, Lambda, DynamoDB), and RESTful API design • Experience in NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB) and SQL databases • Expertise in security practices and secure authentication systems • Experience with AWS services (S3, CloudWatch, IAM) • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines • Experience of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and other authentication protocols • Demonstrate with front-end technologies and how they integrate with authentication services
