Description
• Oversee daily administration of tax filings • Manage client delivery across Tax filing Shared Services • Respond to Client and Client Team inquiries • First point of contact in Tax Filing • Liaison with Client and Payroll Client teams • Facilitate client meetings • Educate clients and provide subject matter expertise • Manage Tax Filing suppliers • Approve checklists • Coordinate testing for updated interfaces • Review EFT setup • Monitor and communicate 'Applied for' statuses • Communicate penalty and interest report to clients • Respond timely to inquiries • Support and provide timely research on compliance and regulatory issues • Monitor metrics and identify process issues • Support offshoring initiatives • Support formal internal and external audits
Requirements
• 2-3 years Payroll or Payroll Tax Experience (Tax Experience Preferred) • Analytical and problem solving skills • Basic understanding of payroll, tax, accounting project management and/or related subject matter • Basic understanding of regulatory and legislative guidelines • Ability to work under tight deadlines managing multiple tasks • Excellent work ethic • Team player with ability to coordinate effort • Strong computer skills with current technical knowledge • Demonstrated strong verbal & written communication skills • Proficiency in Excel is required, advanced beginner i.e. pivot tables
