• To be eligible for this position, you must currently be enrolled as a student at a nationally recognized college or university and live in the U.S. and set to graduate in either Spring or Winter 2026. You must also have authorization to work in the U.S. without a visa. • Alignable’s Summer/Fall 2025 Co-op Program runs full-time (40 hours per week; U.S. east coast hours required) from June 2nd 2025 to December 12th 2025. • Alignable is a remote-first, mission-driven Series C (and profitable) growth stage startup on a mission to bring together small business owners from across the globe to help them gain competitive advantage so they can succeed in their business. • Alignable is North America's largest small business network with over 9 million businesses in 30,000+ communities. • We’re looking for results-oriented, self-motivated, and curious software engineers who want to see their work help small businesses be successful. • As a Co-op Software Engineer, you’ll craft exceptional user experiences, working side by side with your team to bring creative solutions to life.
• You are currently enrolled as a student at a nationally recognized college or university and live in the U.S. and are set to graduate in either Spring 2026 or Winter 2026. • You have at least one prior software engineering co-op or internship experience. • You have experience with or a willingness to learn Ruby/Javascript. • You want to be treated like a regular team member, not as an intern. • You like the constructive feedback provided by code reviews. • You enjoy the security provided by a comprehensive test suite. • You appreciate the delicate balance between writing “good” code and shipping. • You understand the performance implications of different algorithms and data-structures. • You grok Git and can explain: “Git gets easier once you understand branches are homeomorphic endofunctors mapping submanifolds of a Hilbert space”
