Description
• As the AWS Cloud Systems Engineer, you will be a key member of our growing infrastructure team. • Participate in IT infrastructure and development projects, providing subject matter expertise in AWS technologies. • Identify potential system issues, conduct research, perform cost-benefit analysis, provide feasible recommendations and/or solutions. • Drive innovation by evaluating emerging trends and ensuring our infrastructure remains cutting-edge and cost-effective. • Collaborate with the DevOps team to support our vision for AWS capabilities alongside business goals. • Offer hands-on guidance and coaching to business units on leveraging AWS Cloud services. • Optimize customer interactions and streamline communication workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, programming, Network Engineering, or relevant Engineering field coupled with related Professional Certifications/Designations (preferred) • Knowledge of DevOps disciplines, CI/CD processes, infrastructure as code development. • Security conscious with 5+ years of experience providing system administration support in a production environment, with a focus on AWS • Working knowledge of telephony, networks, load balancing, switching, firewalls • Exceptional understanding of AWS, working knowledge of Azure an asset • AWS certification such as AWS Tech Essentials, Developer Associate, etc. is desirable. • Working understanding of Linux • Experience with Microsoft 365 & Active Directory administration • Proficient in managing virtual environments infrastructure • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
