Description
• Responsible for overseeing financial activities, maintaining accurate and timely financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and industry best practices. • Competent in financial reporting, strategy and governance, management accounting, internal controls, finance, and tax. • Supports the Sr. Manager, Accounting in day-to-day activities and projects, and provides guidance to the Accounting team and others.
Requirements
• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (Accounting or Finance specialization preferred) • 4-6 years of progressive Accounting experience • Accounting or finance specialty preferred, and CPA designation preferred • Global accounting and tax experience preferred • Extensive knowledge of GAAP and ASPE • Experience with tax authorities • Analytical skills • Process Improvement • Business Acumen • Communication skills • Project Management • Change Management • Technical familiarity and experience with ERP systems and other accounting systems that integrate into ERP systems • Technical skills: proficiency in Excel, ability to use Excel tools/other systems to generate reports that meet reporting needs
